FIRE FIGHTER ROBOTâ„¢

Wireless Fire Fighter Robot that can be controlled by a smartphone from a long distance away from fire, even from overseas

Civil defense's main job is to protect lives, and prevent destruction to properties, and the environment. Firefighters put themselves at high risks when extinguishing the fire. Fire Extinguishing requires fast response, and high-level training to learn and master the firefighting techniques.

Home: Welcome

FIRE FIGHTERS TRY THEIR BEST TO RESPOND QUICKLY TO CASES OF FIRES AND EVEN PUT THEIR LIVES AT RISK AS THEY ENDEAVOR TO SAVE HUMAN LIFE AND PROTECT PROPERTY FROM FIRES.

PROJECT GOALS

  • Designing a firefighters robot to assist human firefighters in conducting their job.

  • Reduce the risk to which human firefighters are exposed to.

  • Reduce the response to fire calls and try to extinguish the fire at its early stage.

  • Increase the chance to save life properties.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Home: Inventory

Focusing on interfacing a fire extinguisher link with an electric valve, battery and a robotic arm. Metallic robotic arm has to be used to resist the high temperature. Battery power has to be placed in the cart to run power through the electric fluid valve. The project will be initially designed, and all mechanical part will be managed. After finished with designing and building the project we can offer it to the Electronic Engineering Tech department in CWU, so they can deal with the electronic parts of the project.

ANALYSIS

Requirements

The top section of the Fire Fighter Robot has multiple parts that need to be secured on the top of the chassis. The parts are the fluid tank, the camera and the robotic arm that controls the position of the fluid nozzle. However, these parts have odd bottom shapes which make it difficult to install them securely on the top plate/cover of the chassis.

Inside the chassis/body of the Fire Fighter Robot, there are two main parts, which are the 12V battery and the printed circuit board. Both of these parts need to be secured in position inside the body of the robot.
